Zais Park Ornament

This ornament, fifteenth in a series, features the gazebo at Zais Park. Located on the corner of Grant and Scott Avenues on Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, the gazebo was built in 1910, and has been the location of Fort Leavenworth’s annual holiday tree lighting ceremony for many years. The park and the gazebo are dedicated in memory of General Melvin Zais (1916-1981).  This ornament was released in 2020.
