International Sunflower Ornament

This ornament, nineteenth in a series, celebrates International Military Student (IMS) participation in the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. The IMS program at the College began in 1894 and provides a professional military education and cross-cultural exchange unrivaled anywhere in the world. Each IMS graduate of the Command and General Staff Officer Course receives a distinctive Graduate Badge. The Badge takes the shape of a Kansas sunflower with the Lamp of Knowledge in the center and 24 petals representing the 24 hours of day and night study. This ornament was released in 2024.
